Cozy High-Quality Loungewear Pieces for Working From Home
I can vividly remember the first piece of designer/high-quality loungewear I picked up. I was early for a SoulCycle class in SoHo New York, so I decided to pop into the Hypebeast haven, Kith. Just there to browse, I walked up and down the first floor ready to wear section to blaring beats of Travis Scott, when I saw the Yeezy Season 5 collection. I do love Kanye’s collections since they are always the color schemes of my wardrobe vibe. There was one piece, the Eagle Print Hoodie, that immediately caught my eye. After trying it on and feeling the weight of the high-quality Italian cotton, I was hooked. I remember walking out with a bit of buyer’s remorse for spending $300+ on a HOODIE, but two years later, I have zero regrets.
Loungewear has never been more versatile. That Yeezy Season 5 Hoodie may be one of my best cost-per-wear pieces, worn everywhere from the library during finals season to Sunday brunch at the trendiest New York brunch spots. I’m even wearing it to write this post! While you can find super fashionable and stylish loungewear pieces from fast fashion companies, investing in higher quality pieces will last you years and keep you comfy for much longer.
