The Sales To Take Advantage of From Home!

Hi from my bed! I hope everyone is staying safe, healthy, and sane through this entire COVID-19 pandemic. I debated making this blog post since the last thing I would want is to come across as insensitive to what everyone is dealing with right now. We really are living through textbook history. While I want to be as sensitive as I possibly can, I also know many people want to have a form of escapism through content, social media, and of course, retail therapy. I know I have been using all three to cope with the changes over the last three weeks. I recently asked on an Instagram poll if you all would want to see a “Sales Happening Right Now” blog post, and an overwhelming majority of you said yes! It seems like I’m not the only one turning to the “add to cart” button in my free time…

While almost all physical shops have closed, many of the retailers and brands have met us where we are on our computers! There are some great deals happening from brands big and small, all in an effort to ease the impacts of their physical stores having to close. I was talking to a friend, and we were saying how we feel like we’ve saved so much money from not eating out, buying coffee, or going to brunch. All these activities that strip us of funds slowly over time have been taken away. It makes me realize how much I spend on coffee and SoulCycle every week… If you are in a similar position and find yourself with a little extra money, I’d recommend taking advantage of some of these new season sales. Many of these retailers are also donating portions of their sales to organizations on the frontlines fighting the virus, as well as supporting smaller boutiques and designers who will be hit harder from the economic impacts of this crisis.

I hope you find this list helpful as you browse away on the couch. Stay safe everyone!
