9 Lightweight Puffer Jackets For Transitional Weather
Greetings from a crazy New York City! With the current spread of coronavirus (COVIC-19) and the pandemonium that is the city, social media, and frankly the entire world, I thought to myself if a new blog post was appropriate to put up. After some deliberation, I am here to talk about some transitional Spring outerwear, because I feel like it is kind of the light-hearted content people need in these wild times.
I’m a part of that strange 4% of people that get a bit anxious when Spring starts to come around. I have to admit, it’s almost completely because my ideal wardrobe is in the Fall/Winter Season. I honestly had some pre-panic attack symptoms the other day after looking at the nearly 70 DEGREE weather on my app and then getting a glimpse of my closet. I have TOO MANY big coats, heavy knits and turtlenecks and not enough Spring clothes!
But as we all start to rebuild our wardrobes for the new season, the reality is that those more Fall items can still be worn in the transitional period (March, April, and May). The key is to find lighter materials and more seasonal colors to mix. This grey look was worn on a warmer day but still kept me cool and stylish because of the light layering I incorporated. The lightweight H&M turtleneck and K-Fashion puffer off the shoulder give a super relaxed street style vibe. I kept the grey theme going with my Balenciaga Phone Holder Bag as a crossbody to add a bit more shape and structure. I think puffers and other lightweight jackets are fantastic transition season pieces, so here are 9 options to get you started!
