3 "Instagramable" Coffee Shops in New York
I’M CRYING!!! I did an entire photoshoot at each of these places but the photos got deleted off my camera! I still wanted to get this post up, so the photos are just some I had on my phone. (still crying btw…)
It’s no shocker that I’m a sucker for visuals and ambiance. There is really nothing that gets me as excited as being at a “posh” café, restaurant, or afternoon tea. New York is no London, but there are some great places if you just feel like getting dressed up with friends, getting an Instagram picture, and having some pretty great coffee or tea at the same time. Here are three of my personal recommendations for great “Insta worthy” coffee and tea spots in the city...
LADURÉE
SoHo Location
Upper East Side Location
If you have been to Paris, you know that Ladurée locations are as abundant there as Starbucks here in New York. The Big Apple is not as lucky and only has three locations: SoHo, the Upper East Side, and The Plaza Hotel. If you are looking for more of an experience and a great IG picture, I’d go no farther than West Broadway. The downtown Ladurée location is a one stop shop for breakfast, lunch, an afternoon tea, dinner, or just to grab a quick coffee and a half dozen macarons. The real gem of this location is the outdoor garden, perfect for romantic afternoons, a get together with friends, or even a solo seat at the bar! In the past, the food was not the best… but with a new menu and revamped vegetarian and vegan options, the Ladurée in SoHo is much more than just a pretty photo spot.
RALPH’S COFFEE at Ralph Lauren
Madison Avenue Location
I am actually sitting at this café as I write this post! One of my new favorite NY gems. After finding this place with friend Emily a month ago, I’ve probably been once every week (which is a lot considering I live on the other side of the island). With the largest location in the women’s Ralph Lauren Mansion on Madison Ave, this quant coffee shop is a great midday stop if you are on the Upper East Side. This cute spot has great coffee at a pretty reasonable price considering the environment. $10 will get you a soy latte and a fresh pastry from their great assortment. Ralph’s is a great spot for anyone who loves great ambiance, yummy coffee, and an excuse to go into one of the most incredible stores on the Upper East Side.

CHA CHA MATHCA
If you love Matcha, millennial pink walls, and sceney café’s, look no further than Cha Cha Matcha. This hip powdered green tea spot attracts tourist, locals, and runway models alike (especially the SoHo location). With a variety of different flavors and custom options, Cha Cha is a definite recommend if you are in New York.
